Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze (/haˈbelə/ /ˈdʊsu/ [ironic] [rag]) is a subtropical Large Town located in Mimukimibele Hold, Vu̹chyâ Ovu̽chû Kingdom, within the Sylvanian Empire.

The name Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze is derived from the Wareneese language, as Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze was founded by Mlelelê Zlkêtco, who was culturaly Wareneese.

Climate

Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze has a yearly average temperature of 19°C (66°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 13°C (55°F). Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze receives an average of 287 cm/y (112 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Overview

Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze was founded durring the early 13th century in winter of the year 1233, by Mlelelê Zlkêtco. The establishment of Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze is is constructed arround a series of restrictive baked earthen mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. Astonishigly, the brittle defences are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze’s streets.

Civic Infrastructure

Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze possesses a city-wide Aethary Link which provides Aethary access anywhere within its metropolitan. This allows citizens who can afford the relevant devices access in their places of work, and rarely homes.

Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze. Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Large Town. Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze's grid is powered by a boiler and turbine based power plant.

Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze's natural decorations nor waterways.

Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.

Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

The locals are convinced that there is some terrible threat against them working from within their society. It may be a matter of dark sorcerers, foreign spies, traitorous neighbors, shape shifting monsters, or some other hidden evil. This evil may be a recent fear, or it may be an inherited peril they’ve always had to guard against. The danger itself may or may not exist, or if it exists it may not justify the steps being taken.

Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used has a sleek, linear appearance with stylized, often geometric ornamentation. The primary facade of its buildings often featured a series of set backs that create a stepped outline. Low-relief decorative panels can be found at entrances, around windows, along roof edges or as string courses. It was best known for its use of smooth finish building materials such as stucco, concrete block, glazed brick or mosaic tile. Decorative details can incorporate various artistic or exotic motifs to suit the building's function or the architect's whim. Chevrons, zigzags, and other geometrical motifs are common forms of ornament.

In Àchærâ Dûsu Mîze most nights are accompanied by colorful ribbons of light in the sky.
